Each Instrument is a part of a whole.

Religious wars, hate & prejudice are like that of an orchestra capable of such beautiful sounds, but instead they bash each others instruments, tear up musical notes & the conductor....sadly his masterpiece goes unheard. Respectively, all Spiritual beliefs are each a different instrument created by God in its time. Many melodies, one conductor, each containing its own beauty. Imagine if they all played together, in sync & with appreciation for one another? Knowing that each instrument is a part of whole. ~Starr De Luna

Listen

Hear the cries of wolves, rather than the laughter of man.

You know you're a super mommy when

You know you're a super mommy;
When you teach them to look within and seek real love.
When you pick your kids up from school early 'just because'.
When you get excited over a new home appliance just knowing what it does.
When you think love & cooking are in some way connected.
When you give your husband the cold shoulder for forgetting to read them a book, saying that TIME was neglected.
When you can say "I'm sorry" if your temper ever flared.
When you go without eating so they can have seconds because that's how much you care.
When you can say no, even if they fuss, teaching them longevity, how not to run from problems or be hurt when people cuss.
When parenting IS your outlet.
When they are sound asleep, you still give them a kiss & pray that all their dreams be sweet.
When you actually listen to them, instead of turning on tv. You even pray for other mommys who are lost or have it hard on a thousand other streets.
When you spend more time looking at food labels than caring for your own wants & personal needs.
When your biggest secret is that once you cried yourself to sleep, hoping your love & hardwork is good enough, as you rested your achey feet; and when drifting off on those hopes & dreams, you ask God for all the tools you'll need, thanking him... because he knows they are most beautiful things you've ever seen. ~Amber De Luna

Be the Voice

I drew 'Be the Voice' in 2009 for children like Caylee Marie Anthony. Sadly she isn't the only one, there are hundreds of thousands sold into sex slavery, killed, verbally/physically abused, starving, medicated up and misled- daily. People who engage in and get away with these things are not the only problem. Its also people who DO NOTHING about it as well. Im sure every tear is counted. The sad thing is that many people who commit the crime(s) were once lonely and or abused children without a voice, confused and hurt as well! Although I say "One  MUST know right from wrong, there are no excuses", the damage and rewiring of the brain associated with abuse is un-measurable and everyone has NOT the strength to over come. A sad chain, a viscous cycle...BE THE VOICE.

Tides of Time Within

Let not the tides of time disconnect you from the splendors & beauty that the Infinite One has created for your comfort & guidance throughout life. God's omnipresence can be heard in the chirps of birds, seen in a turtles perfext pace- Seen in the smile of a child's face, as their eyes sparkle and their innocent imaginations race- God is felt within the gentle breezes, the tiny trinkling creeks & even seen on busy city streets. In the majestic rhythm set by the moon, God is there, on the sea shores that sing a continuousness tune. He IS there- in the eyes of a foe and in the presence of friends where laughter unfolds and memories begin. There is no stop sign in space, God is the beginning and end. This place might be like heaven, if only our love vanished all sin. Instinct & senses God implemented within us all, we have dulled with nonsense & fail to appreciate or stand in awe. Inside you is where its starts, that is where your perception reflects that of your heart. ~Amber De Luna

6/20/11 Answers vs Silence

In a foolish mans mind lay all the answers. Within a wise man, rests his silenced mind- receptive to truth. ~Amber De Luna

6/12/11 Common Sense

Sense isn't as common as people think it is. ~Amber De Luna

1 and Mans Hands

Ohh...Can today one not see- the soiled fruit of mans hands and heart? The faults and judgments passed- has destruction become his mastered art? Each of us have '1' in common- '1' by whom we were brought to be. The '1' that MAN has given many names to- the '1' that has revealed to MAN his many names. '1' that created the perfect birds that soar within the perfect sky, the perfect winds that shout upon the seas that roar perfectly-

Because of our selfish desires and foolish needs and hate for others beliefs, we are now living out of balance and to natures warning signs we never heed- sadly this accepted modern corruption waters many of todays innocent growing seeds. Lacking '1ness'- we have become a perfect imperfection you see.

We are all '1's' crops of wheat and weeds- Awareness and a true thirst for good- diverts and makes sense of all the pain- Embrace long suffering, acknowledge the '1' within us all by empowering others with your love, for there is much to gain and nothing to fear. ~Amber De Luna

Let it rain

Im sure that Ive had a sin for every rain drop that he as fallen- whether pain or pleasure. However life & growth ceases without rain. The earth absorbs each drop & continuously gives forth life beneath & abound. Which seed did that drop water? What sprung because of that shower? Just as life couldn't handle all the rain of 40 days & 40 nights without the guidance of the Infinite One, we too couldn't handle a flood of lifes lessons all at once. If within these personal symbolic raindrops we come to know the divine power that is, we awaken to realize that they are drip drops of inner growth & all that each one has brought forth & grown. ~Amber S. De Luna

Individuality

So beautiful in this world is the individuality God has allowed in each of us. How the Infinite one manifests him/herself to us and our perception that emerges. There is no one book about how one should receive or experience, there are however many many books on those experiences others have shared! Religions around the word are an example- each one is different - but each one the same. ~Amber De Luna

All Beliefs Call

Just as occurrences in life reveal to us lessons that we can utilize to move forward, backward or remain stubbornly stagnant. SO DO ALL beliefs call to us saying, "I have something to teach you, we are all from one source". With that you may brighten, darken or remain dim. ~Amber De Luna

As I awoke

When I awoke this morning- I laid & listen to the birds of the sky.... Listen to what children churp- how they sing to your heart- for they are pure and their message is from God. Our parental cage is to protect them- so when they are grounded in their purpose and individually- they can soar and weather any strife. ~Amber De Luna

A Childs Love

Oh! How our children truly don't understand, how much we love them -OR- might we not understand a love as pure, unconditional and free of prejudice as theirs? ~Amber De Luna

Journeys

Better to be on a seemingly endless journey seeking truth, than to be comfortable and stagnant with deception. -Amber De Luna

My Words- My Intentions

If you forget all my words and writings- remember my intent in its whole. Let it perch within & sing an illuminating melody- Lighten your hull, that is the burdens of this world- Set sail above all transgressions- Synchronizing with YOUR spark within- Beautifying now, what's to come & what has been. ~Amber De Luna

The City Tree that Inspired Me

No matter where you are or what your surroundings are like- let your intentions and duty spand beyond what is is seen, beyond your surroundings, beyond u- Me, inspired by a tree I saw growing by a telephone pole, surrounded by litter. ~Amber De Luna

My Philosophy

Delight in the art of enlightenment manifested through honest cultivating of Ones individuality. Be honest with ourselves and disciplined in our positive ways, love yourself and others the same. ~Amber De Luna

Quietness of the Mind

Quietness of the mind is the path to the source. The voice of ones soul speaks in that silence, we are a but a spark from the infinite one.

Weathered Souls

As much as I love the elements, tools and diversity that the Creator brought into existence, not everyone will be enjoying those elements, nor have the inner strength to access the tools from within, some have never been loved. So many homeless people will self destruct, suffer, die and be overlooked. Thrown away war heros- praised at youth, people of loss and those whos innocents or spirit was crushed as a child. For whatever the cause, purpose or reason they lay cold in the streets this winter, under a bridge or warmed up by barrel made flames, might their souls be mended and self worth be lifted in preparation of a renewed life in a world less cold... at their appointed time. ~Amber De Luna

Honesty with Self

Through honesty with oneself, a person blooms and befriends truth and the world around- Can we acknowledge our own beauty, inner thoughts, faults and ignorances- exploring the vastness of self? Accepting the growth that humiliation bestows all while smiling humbly inside and out?- knowing humiliation too is encompassed within enlightenment.

See that your perception is not clouded by storms from the past or prejudice-
Careful not to be snared in a mindset that leads you to accept excuses you might make for your own unjust behaviors,
or that what makes un-feasible your ability to forgive and let go. It is not our judgement of others that brings upon change, but rather the change we make within ourself- to disengage in the sharing of pain.

All excuses and seemingly unreachable abilities, are constant attempts at protecting your heart or ego from having to face past pains, events or people. Never forfeit inner growth for a false identity- brought on by the pressures of judging eyes that weigh upon. If you dont reject, but instead open-mindedly embrace occurrences and encounters in life, they WILL reveal their purpose and teachings. As you too will ultimately produce the fruit of your perception.

As I journey within, to the roots of my limitations, ego, faults & negative thoughts, a parent-like essence conspires (breaths) with me, an inner cultivation. Accepting who I am, as I am, or even further- if needed, that child I once was. A nurturing moment- attainable by us all, that awakens a stronger consciousness within.

Do not linger on your faults, doubt your capabilities or be weighed down by heavy eyes nor live closed minded. Let it all be but sand and salt- being not a burden, nor becoming an imbalance within- But rather lifes occurrences can SERVE YOU, as stepping stones to a better self, and a renewed state- Here. Now. Be.

With love to us. -Me

Children's Guided Meditation

Children see and endure a lot more than us adults can imagine or would like to admit. They see and hear things at school, deal with small but hurtful things other children (and some adults) say. At times they themselves make mistakes, by saying or doing things without thinking, sometimes out of anger or pain, or perhaps from being taught wrong. Many times we haven't said the right words or explained a situation to the point of the child healing, growing from or comprehending. There ARE lingering issues in all children, we all have a memory or story that effected us- consciously, subconsciously or both. No one parent is perfect. Even when living a well rounded good life- a child should still be shown how to go inward. This technique allows a child to find self and build a healthy life long habit of self appreciation and/ or ability to self heal (IF NEEDED). We must understand that their minds and hearts are pure, at times they take things literally or imagine them way out of proportion. Their perception is unlike ours and cannot be found in our imagination or dreams. Their curiosity is limitless and eager. It is so important to offer children a time of inner projection, forgiveness and a creative path to find their individuality. Their meditation can be healing, offer clarity and answers, creativity or simply be a quiet moment for their mind. We should know that meditation and self healing is a God given tool within us all. Again, this works on many levels- from inner awareness to healing. There are many many descriptions children will use to describe their experience and can be indications and helpful info to a parent on the psychological and spiritual development of their child. This technique should be fun and will flow naturally after done a few times or so. You will alter it and add or take away according to your parental instincts.

This is the original meditation I created one night and taught to my children about a year ago, when our power was out for days, we had candles everywhere, it was hot and they were cranky-

THE ENVIRONMENT
Non vocal- Ambient music; music without words, leaves the mind clear an able to focus on the silence that heals the soul. Start by turning on low, soft ambient (non vocal) music. If this is your childs first time hearing that type of music, there might be some giggling as they adjust to their new feelings that arise with the reaction of having to create individual ideas that come from the inner simulative music, rather than following the words of a song.

Comfortable, warm, solitude; It is important that a child can also find safety within and comfort when alone, not snuggled or dependent. They know you love them and that you are there. You would be surprised to know the amount of people with infantile dysfunction, or people who simply cant stand to be alone with themselves, without vocal music, a cell phone, tv, book, pet or computer. This mental reflection and inward journey can only be done solo.

A light blanket; This is so the child is warm and not distracted by temperature or breezes around.

A fairly bright white candle; tell the child that this candle symbolizes the energy, light and goodness within them- how light can brighten darkness, but darkness can never cast out light. This is the light of God, that no matter where they are, God is within them and is attainable no matter what. Tell them to just imagine that the more they look inward and keep a loving essence on their mind and in their heart, the more their light will brighten and they will never fear any kind of dark.

THE MEDITATION
Begin by asking your child to close his or her eyes- to keep them closed the until asked to reopen. Say to them "Its not bedtime, its just quiet self time". Have your child imagine that they are a strong beautiful/ or handsome young tree. Tell them to imagine the feeling of the sun shining warm upon them and growing them strong.

[Repeat with slightly different words]

Ask them not to image anything else, so that they can have a strong mind (this builds discipline of the mind). Keeping clear the vision of them as a young strong tree, with grass around, a beautiful sky and the warmth of the sun.

Now say to the child, "imagine that you are rooted right next to a gentle, but powerful river or stream. This river has the purest of water, the most delicious quenchable water. Imagine your tree growing its roots deeper and deeper into the soil and being nourished by this water. (Tell them to gently stretch and slowly wiggle their toes) Now, in a few words, gently say, "the water, is the words and essence of God- love, peace, good will, forgiveness, wisdom... what a beautiful tree that is growing." Then softly recap... "You are a beautiful tree" (remind them-no distractions- just grass and sky) "Planted by the purest water and what it represents". "Your roots and nourishment from being rooted and strong by this water."

Next is the healing part. As they lay there with the guided imagery you have laid out, and their eyes still closed, say to them,  "look up the river... against the tide. I see a boat coming...wow...that is a beautiful boat.... HHUUMMM....lets think....if we are this awesome tree, rooted in this pure water, what all have we seen or heard while growing? The weather hasn't always been this nice! Sometimes it rains, sometimes you can hear or fear a storm coming. You have even been in and seen a few storms before. Haven't you? Think to yourself about an event or problem that happened in life and how you felt- whether it was big or tiny. Be honest with yourself. Was it something you did or said wrong? Something someone did to you? Did someone hurt or scare you? Did you loose someone or thing? Did it make you sad, ashamed, or scared? How did you feel?" (Dont have the child elaborate on their feelings, just bring them to the surface) Then gently say to the child, "those events or person(s) symbolize the weather that your tree has been growing through." "Uhhoo.... the boat has gotten closer and is right by your tree- in the water! Lets take that event or person(s), no matter what it was and imagine IT ALL ON THE BOAT! If you were mad at a person or hurt, make sure NOT to let their boat be ugly or damaged, make sure they have a nice safe boat." (teaches forgiveness) Give the child a few seconds to let the feeling(s) go and imagine the event or person involved ON the boat. Then tell the child to image the breeze and their tree gently rocking in a good bye motion and the mighty waters gently carrying it all away.... you can even make the sound of waves (swissshhh, swisshhh, swiffshhh)  "Say- Bye, boat" and ask the child to smile- and watch the boat gently fade away and let it all go. Tell the child to grow their roots EVEN deeper now and gently stretch and wiggle their toes. Wait a few seconds. Say things like "beautiful tree", "flowing waters", "sun shining" and so on. Remind them with every ship or boat they let pass this way, their roots and the inner bond grows deeper. (eyes still closed) Then say to the child, "think about what you learnt from that storm or rain cloud, person or event- that left on the boat? Did you learn what NOT to do now or when you are grown. A different way to handle a situation? What did you learn? Keep the lesson and let any pain or anger go. Only hold on to what the water leaves for your nourishment and well being. Wiggle your toes again and softly open your eyes."

After their meditation, here is a conversation topic;

"If you learn from whatever it was you put on that boat and grow strong by that water of life and goodness, you will produce good fruit!"

What is an example of "good fruit"? They might say a "fresh apple" and/ or speak of fruit literally. Some children automatically grasp the concept and say "the Good fruit is my Good deeds" Because you have used metaphors like, "Storms compared to a life event" or "guided mental imagery of them as a tree", the child will understand. Ask your child to give an example of good fruit from their tree.... EXAMPLES; being kind, speaking kindly, helping, sharing, hard working etc. is good fruit. What is Dads good fruit and Moms?

Only go over 1 inner issue per meditation.

Listen to your child
If scary things come up, like a tornado, monsters, or a tainted surrounding- the child needs to be talked to separately- to let it out and be assisted with an issue they are holding on to.

Some times a child will describe to you their tree and you will have an insight as a parent of their level of confidence or desire to be. If the child is imagining that their tree is tiny and/ or frail, the child needs you to help him/her to build their confidence and self esteem. If the child imagines dark or ugly waters, they are not feeling as safe or secure as they should.

Self forgiveness

If this meditation brings your child to face something they did or said wrong, make sure they understand to forgive themselves for mistakes and wrong doings- BUT LEARN FROM THEM. They must take responsibly for their actions and or words, before moving on. Furthermore, do they need you to help them see things from a more positive or corrected perception? What could they do differently?NOTE, over reacting to something your child has said or done wrong, will make you unapproachable! They will be less likely to come to you or be completely honest next time they need to talk. If you are a very stern parent and gently take your child through this, you just might hear some childhood confessions come up soon or later. That is a GOOD thing, they are ready to learn and move on!

Again, there are many many many descriptions children will use and can be indications and helpful info to a parent on the psychological and spiritual development of their child. This technique will be fun and will flow naturally after done a few times or so. You will alter it and add or take away according to your parental instincts.

Peace and love be with you all.

Your Mistakes are meant to Serve You

Mistakes we have made in our past only linger if the lesson has not been valued within the heart. Its not the mistakes that make you, its what you mold out of the mistake. ~Amber De Luna

Inner Momentum

When things seem to be 'going down hill', its actually your strength and momentum to rise up/ gain energy! Staying positive ensures your UP is not blindly down. Embrace what-how-who-&-why> Never forget YOUR momentum- its a force that never fades! ~Amber De Luna

Woman

Just a few thoughts of my own, mixed with some sayings and biblical passaages regarding the value and ways of a good woman :)

She is the backbone of the home. The crown upon her husbands head. A spiritual woman cant be found within a million dates, she is a blooming gift for the blessed man that humbly waits. ~Amber De Luna

Come Together

When we hear songs or inspirational speakers say "lets come together", many automatically think 'outside of themselves' or on a 'larger than possible' scale- knowing in their heart that the world is not going to 'come together' or 'unite' all at once- the words come in and go out- passing right by the heart. However if we lovingly think 'unity' on a day to day basis, and unite our hearts with simple people around us, strangers, family, friends, foes- ALL alike- no matter the color, distance, status or differences- that is a TRUE 'coming together'. Because in that state of truth you are unified with the world. Its not what we get back or if someone sees, its all the love sent out and planting of like minded seeds. ~Amber De Luna

Peppermint Apologizes

You find them in banks, offices, lobbies- everywhere. They are cheap, typical & bland. They refresh temporarily but are unhealthy. Their name has no connection to what they really contain. We accept them over & over, they get old, lay around, get sticky, we throw them away, eat em'.. like that of many apologies.  Offer apologizes with sincerity, love & good intention, let it be a sweet delicacy that heals the soul and mends the matter- Lets not give out 'peppermint apologizes'. ~Amber De Luna

6/23/11

One man walks nearly perfect through his life, just & humble. Loving all as himself. Yet as he ages, he 'suffers'. There a molester sits before the court & quietly hears each charge drop through 'loopholes' of the justice system... Where are the good man's 'loopholes'? Where is the predators 'suffrage'? NOT here on earth. Do not judge others by their success or mishaps. For in truth, you understand not even those of your own. ~Amber De Luna

My Dad- What he was and was not- I Love

A seemingly heartless, rebellious, rolling stone he was. Liked by people he chose -feared & envied by others, comfortable outside of religion and tradition. A single parent out of revenge, love eventually struck a soft spot. All I ever knew were his gentle yet hard working hands. As he changed his occupation from 'easy money machine' to honest blood, sweat and tears, we grew together. Not an average childhood I had, nevertheless I will never forget the night he came to me & held my little hand in his, he acted like he put something in it, but it was visibly empty. I said "what is it". He said "its all my love", and he walked off. He didnt show much of that to the world, only partialy to friends or occasional strangers in distress. His favorite saying was "I can be your best friend or your worst nightmare". Today, he is still stubbornly set in his ways, but wise and proud of me. I have come to study Kabbalah, it teaches the science of God and the blue print of creation with the intention of obtaining enlightenment for the sole pupose of radiating love to the world. My dad is apart of that because I carry his love with me, the love he grew me with and passed to me. Love cannot be simply handed to someone, but I guess his spec was special and he powerfully planted it within me. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for everything that my dad WAS and WAS NOT, because it is all a part of WHO I am.
